CERAGEM THERAPY
By Muskan Mehndiratta
A therapy or medical treatment is the attempted remediation of the health problem, usually following a diagnosis. As a rule each therapy has indications and contraindications. There are many different types of therapy. Not all therapies are effective. The one which I’m going to discuss is CERAGEM therapy.
What is Ceragem therapy?
Ceragem therapy is a fully natural therapy that scans the back of the spine and the machine provides thermal acupressure to the spine.
People use Ceragem Therapy to increase blood pressure, purifying the blood, boost immunity, relieve stress and aligning spinal cord. Ceragem therapy relieves arthritis pains, relaxes muscles and increases energy with proper blood circulation.
Three things that matter in life ‐ your health, your missions, and the people you love.

Ceragem is safe. However, in every treatment chances of side effects exist. In case of ceragem chances of side effect are extremely low if used properly, it shouldn’t be used regularly. Side effects may occur due to infared light which may cause damage to the skin.
On the other hand it’s too costly. So, instead of purchasing it you can go to centers where Ceragem Therapy is given.

Festival and Food Adulteration
By Simran Kaur
Festival of colors, Holi is on the way and this is the festival which is celebrated with such joy not only in India but worlwide. Indians are crazy about festivals and especially food. No festival is complete without a signature cuisine.
Gujiya, a cuisine of North India, which is up of suji or maida and stuffed with khoya along with dry fruits is a must have for Holi. This delicacy has gained popularity since the beginning of time.
Food Adulteration is a problem which has been faced by many people in the country. Many people face a lot of health problems because of the food they consume. Milk and dairy products are a huge part of the balanced diet. Milk is necessary for infants and adults too. Dairy products are one of the best sources of protein, fat, carbohydrate, vitamin and minerals.
Unfortunately, milk is easily adulterated in the world. History of milk adulteration is not new.
Possible reasons behind it may include:
- demand and supply gap,
- perishable nature of milk,
- low purchasing capability of customer
- and lack of suitable adulteration detection tests.
The situation is significantly worse in developing and underdeveloped countries due to the absence of adequate monitoring of products and lack of proper law enforcement.
Now Adulteration generally means ‘ मिलावट करना ‘ and it can be dangerous because of the toxicity and can affect health. It could deprive the consumer of nutrients essential for proper growth and development. It is the mixture of inferior substances or the removal of some valuable ingredients.
Paneer and khoya are adulterated with starch, which is used to give thick, rich texture to the sweets. Importantly, synthetic artificial colors and flavors are also used in drinks like Thandai and bhang. When demand of such products increases adulteration in these products also increases.
According to Bhaskar news network, In factories of Bhind (Malanpur), milk was prepared by using toilet cleaner, and those involved in this, were arrested by the local police. It was the fourth FIR which was filed by the residents there.
How can we as consumers ensure the quality of milk and milk products?
To check the purity of milk at home, qualitative detection of adulterants in milk can be easily performed with chemical reactions while quantitative detections are complex and diverse.

- Some of the major adulterants are urea, formalin, detergents, ammonium sulphate, boric acid, caustic soda, benzoic acid, salicylic acid, hydrogen peroxide, sugars and melamine.
- To check, whether milk is adulterated with water place a drop of milk on a slanting surface, if the milk flows freely it has high water content, purer milk will flow slowly.
- Melamine can be detected at room temperature within a few seconds through the change in color.
- We can check urea in milk by adding half teaspoon of soyabean and arhar powder. Mix up the contents and after 5 minutes dip a red litmus paper in it. The color of litmus paper changes from red to blue, which basically indicates the presence of urea in milk.
HEALTHY SKIN WINS!
By Srishti Bansal
Healthy skin is not a myth.
Skin health is very important in our life, and not only for appearance but because it also performs many tasks for the body.
A healthy skin protects the body from many viruses and bacteria, protects it from harmful sunrays(UV rays) that can brutally damage the skin.
Taking care of the skin though could be tricky at times. Many times we are unsure about what to do and what not to. Also skincare is highly season dependent. What works in summer could not be so effective during winter and vice versa.
The most important project you’ll ever work upon is YOURSELF.

So here are some methods we are sure your skin would love.
Here are some important tips and tricks that you can use for betterment of your skin.
One of the key ingredient which you can easily find in every Indian household is “Turmeric.” Now it is more of a magic ingredient that can serve as medicine, in face packs, food and many more.
- It has anti-inflammatory properties that can fight off acne.
- It reduces dark circles.
- Helps in reducing dark spots.
- It also calms the skin by reducing pigmentation.
The second ingredient which can be used for rejuvenating your skin is “Gram Flour” (besan):
- It removes tan.
- Exfoliates dead skin.
- Removes fine facial hair.
- It gives instant brightness to your skin.
Another ingredient is “Lemon Juice” which is a rich source of vitamin C :
- Helps in reducing acne marks.
- Its a great oil-eliminator, helps in making skin non-greasy.
- It helps in skin lightening.
- It is also a natural exfoliator.
Mix all the three ingredients in a way that a smooth paste is ready. Apply it and keep it on skin for 10 to 15 minutes and then wash it off with cold water and…you are good to go!!!
Here’s some “Expert Advice”:
According to Dr. Sarita, a dermatologist based in Ambala, the best way of taking care of the skin during winter is as follows:
1) Hydrate your skin using almond oil or coconut oil.
2) Do not scrub or exfoliate your skin daily because your skin may tend to damage due to loss of moisture.
3) Wash you face with lukewarm water.
4) Use yogurt for hydrating your skin in winters.
5) Moisturize frequently and do apply sunscreen even on gray winter days.
